1.
PURPOSE
- To show/share
your artwork.
- Get ideas
from others.
- receive
comments or critism on your work.
2.
COMMENTING AND CRITISM
- Under no
circumstances may you just plain out say something sucks. If
you do, you will be warned anywhere from 10 to 50%
(depending
on the insult)
- You may only
give constructive critism if you don't like
something.
- Ratings
aren't necessary, but if you must, follow a brief idea of
the version in the
SPRITE RATING/ COMMENTING.
3. HOW TO SHOW YOUR
WORK
- When you post an image on the forums, you
should save it as a PNG (better quality) or JPG (less
quality, but takes less memory)
- To post a sheet,
it must be uploaded to an image host. the most commonly used
one is
http://www.imageshack.us
First press browse, then
upload your sheet into the host.
You will be given a few links; use the one that says
"Direct link to image" do this
by just copying and pasting
the link in the address bar, make sure the link works first!
*To show your
image (click the Image button)
4.
DO NOT POST...
- You may not
show anything that is pornographic, racist or hateful.
5. THEFT
- If anyone is
found of stealing another's artwork, they will be banned
there is
no excuse to stealing another's work, this is even lower
than sprite theft.
6. "GIFT" TOPIC
- In this
topic, you give gifts to other members of the forum that you
either like, or just want to do something for.
- The only
rule? Don't say a gift sucks or that you hate it; especially
since it was made for you.
- Be
appreciative if you get any gifts, just don't ask for them.
It looks sad :p
- If you do ask
for gifts, you will be warned 10%, and you may not complain
if you haven't gotten a gift. If you want one, best way
to get
one is to give gifts yourself. :3
7. FAN
"SUBMISSIONS"
- There is no
real official fanart submission, since we're kind of overly
picky about what we accept. All fanart is appreciated
though; it's
nothing personal.
- If someone
does do some fanart and posts it on the forum; if we
like it enough, Kajin or I might ask if we can add it to the
fanart section.
- Please don't
PM me or Kajin fanart, we will PM you.
-No warning
will be received if you do, but if you do it
continuously after being told not to, you will have to be
warned.
Art is meant to
be fun, so make it fun for others as well. ^^
